Club and Team Events

Hello All,

Adam is sick so I apologize that you get to hear from me instead.

Please take note that the Club and Team Events section of Team App received many updates and additions yesterday. This is the message you’ve been waiting for: our coached sessions are on the calendar and we are starting our official season (this is a bit early even for us, I’m thrilled). Masters is set up completely and additional Open Practices will be added shortly. Novice practices start after adult learn to row is complete (if you were planning on being on the novice team, please reach out to Director@minnesotaboatclub.org).

What do you need to do?
Pay your 2021 Dues (and rack fees if applicable)
-Sign up for Practice (note that uncoached sessions have been added so people can more accurately plan for “busier” times and have the option to coordinate boats with others in their pod
you are still able to row independently if following all policies at any time).
-Ensure you are registered in a Pod or have designated only your single prior to rowing. This is under the MBC Dashboard and then MBC Pod Rowing Program. Unsure if you’ve filled out the form? Check the Pod Program Roster on the MBC Dashboard.
-Ensure you are adhering to all Covid Policies (listed on MBC Dashboard).
-Ensure you are logging in and out of the virtual log book (on the MBC Dashboard).
-Ensure you are approved to row and the boat you’re taking out: check the bow list and rowing restrictions (on the MBC Dashboard).

As a reminder, please remember to use the repair form and incident form if situations arise. This includes boats in need of preventative maintenance or parts (do not put it in the log book comment section…your request will not be seen by appropriate parties).

Here’s to a great year, hopefully with some start lines, bbqs, and laughter amongst the sweat.

Thanks!
Betsy Bagley
